Umrah Duas and Supplications

Your Umrah spiritual journey begins at home as you prepare for it. It's a beautiful practice to say Duas at every step, remembering Allah (SWT) and seeking His guidance. This practice helps you feel more connected to Him and brings purpose to your actions.

1 . Dua, when leaving home.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِالل

Transliteration: Bismillah tawakkaltu 'alallahi la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.

Translation: In the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah; there is no might and no power except with Allah.

2 . Dua, when you start the journey.

 (Quran 43: 13 &1سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَـٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُۥ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ ( 4

Transliteration: Subhanallazi sakhkhara lana hatha wama kunna lahu muqrinin, Wa inna ila rabbina lamunqalibun.

Translation: Glory be to the One Who has subjected these for us, for we could have never done so [on our own]. And surely to our Lord we will [all] return.

3 . Dua at Meeqat.

اَللّٰهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ عُمْرَةً

Transliteration: Allaahumma labbaika umrat.

Translation: Here I am, O Allah, for Umrah.

4. Talbiya.

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَك

Transliteration: Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayk La Sharika Laka Labbayk, Innal Hamda Wan-Ni‘mata Laka Wal-Mulk, La Sharika Lak

Translation: I respond to your call. O Allah, I respond to Your call, and I am obedient to Your orders. You have no partner. I respond to your call. All the praises and blessings are for You. All the sovereignty is for You, and You have no partners with You.

5. Dua, when entering the Haram.

اللّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Transliteration: Allahumma iftaḥ li abwaba rahmatik.

Translation: O Allah, open the gates of Your mercy for me.

6. Takbir, at the Black Stone.

الله أكبر

Transliteration: Allahu Akbar.

Translation: Allah is the greatest.

7. Dua, at the Rukn al- Yemeni and Hajar e Aswad.

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا في الدُّنْيَا حسَنَةً وفي الآخِرَةِ حسَنةً وقِنَا عذَابَ النَّارِ

Transliteration: Rabbanā ātinā fid-dunyā ḥasanah wa fi ‘l-ākhirati ḥasanah wa qinā `adhāban-nār.

Translation: Our Lord, grant us the good things in this world and the good things in the next life, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.

8. Dua for Approaching Safa and Marwah.

إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ ۖ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا ۚ وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ

Transliteration: Inna assafa walmarwata min shaAAa-iri Allahi faman hajja albayta awe'-tamara fala junaha AAalayhi ay-yattawwafa bihima waman tatawwaAAa khayran fa-inna Allaha shakirun AAaleem.

Translation: Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah—there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers, good—then indeed, Allah is appreciative and knowing.

9. Dua, at Safa and Marwa.

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيك لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كَلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ الأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَه

Transliteration: Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul mulku walahul hamdu yuhyee wa yumeetu , wahuwa alaa kulli shaien qadeer, laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu, anjaza wa’dah, wa nasara abdah, wa hazamal ahzaaba wahdah.

Translation: There is no god but Allah, the One; there is no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty. To Him praise is due. And He is powerful over everything. There is no god but Allah alone, Who fulfilled His promise, helped His servant, and routed the confederates alone.

10. Dua When Leaving the Masjid.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

Allahumma, inni as'aluka min fadlik

O Allah, I ask You from Your favor,

11. Dua of Returning From Journey.

أَيبونَ تَئِبونَ عَابِدونَ سَاجِدونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدونَ 

Transliteration: Ayyibuna, ta'ibun, 'abidun, sajidun, lirabbina hamidun.

Translation: We return, repentant, worshipping, prostrating, and praising our Lord.
